Fuji TV Ganbatta(nice try) Awards- for short Bloopers of Last Friends

I’ve downloaded the Subbed Video by NEWShFAN@lj  here

Here’s the video on youtube. (it’s not subbed)

I’ll just go explain it…

The first part is where Masami Nagasawa (Michiru) was talking to someone in the phone and she said something like “Everyone’s here. Eri and Egurin and takeru” And then she starts laughing. Then the narrator goes like “Egurin?? what is Egurin??!” :)) Masami just laughs. Then Asami (Eri) said that she combined Eri and Ogurin :))

The next one was Ueno Juri’s blooper. She was talking with Eita (Takeru) when she said “It was fine. It can’t be helped. I was in a bout.” She pronounced her line wrong and she said that it totally changed the meaing :))

The next scene was when Asami (Eri) visited Ryo (sosuke) in the hospital. Ryo said to Eri “because you are nice” and eri responds by saying “you’re kind of m…….en” hahaha. Asami ignores it so ryo lughed and said “you were hoping to keep going right? that woudn’t have worked” and he laughed.

In the last scene, observe juri carefully……she wore her helmet and as she rode on the bike, the director said cut because she wore the helmet backwards :)) haha

that’s pretty much it.

Here’s the video…Have fun 😀

Upcoming Japanese Drama Season (Autumn 2008)-a blog about those I dramas I want to watch

Haha long blog title.

Most of the Autum Dramas will start airing on october.

I need more computer space!!

Anyway here it goes…

Here are the ones I want to watch.

I’ve read that the scriptwrter of Innocent Love was also the scriptwriter of last friends. Since last friends turned out to be a really great drama, I’m guessing that Innocent Love will be like that too. Another reason why I want to watch it is because horikita Maki will be playing the lead role 🙂

Details from Dramawiki

An arson took it all away from Akiyama Kanon seven years ago. Her parents died in that fire, her brother was arrested as the prime suspect and her carefree life disappeared from that instant. She was shunned by the town as the sister of a murderer, yet she believes in her brother’s innocence and often pays him visits with words of encouragement. As life gets harder when nobody is willing to give her a job, Kanon decides to try her luck in the city and there she meets the man of her destiny…

2. Ryousei No Kizuna-starring Nino Kazunari, Nishikido Ryo and Erika Toda

Pleas read my previous blog entry about that drama. (It has all the details)

3. Bloody Monday

I can’t find a poster thingy for Bloody Monday..I’ll just put pics of Miura Haruma (since I love him so much)

Here’s the synopsis of Bloody Monday (dramawiki)

Last Friends

It’s been 2 months already since I’ve finished watching last friends. I just made my wordpress blog a few days ago so I’ve decided to post my old review of last friends here.

This goes to all of those people who haven’t seen last friends yet.
Firs and foremost, here are some reasons why you should watch last friends:

1. It received the BEST DRAMA award in the recently held Television Drama Academy Awards. It also won the best script and best director award.

2. Ueno Juri portrayed the role of a lesbian. It’s goodbye Nodame.

3.  The other members of the cast are pretty much well known for their acting skills. Nagasawa Masami, Eita, Nishikido Ryo, Mizukawa Asami and of course Ueno Juri. All of them portrayed roles that were different from what they usually portayed.

4. Ryo won the Best supporting actor award while Juri won the Best supporting actress award.

5. The story is just simply great.

Here’s the synopsis from dramawiki

Last Friends tackles issues that afflict the current generation. Michiru’s mother has brought a man back to their home and she is bullied at her workplace where she works as a beauty parlour assistant. She starts cohabiting with her boyfriend, a good young man who works at the Child Welfare Division and the only person who can give her emotional support, but ends up the victim of domestic violence and becomes fearful of love. The boyishly charming Ruka was a classmate of Michiru’s in junior high school. She has performed brilliantly as a motocross racer and aims to win the national championship, but as the story progresses, a deep worry that she can neither confide in her parents or close friends grows evident. Takeru is a hair and makeup artist acquainted with Ruka. He is a good confidant to females due to his kindness and perceptiveness, and finds himself attracted to Ruka but has a phobia of sex as a result of a past trauma. The three of them become house mates and through their associations with others, gain the capacity to be positive about life.  -Dramawiki

And my review….

Although the plot of the story may sound quite weird (love triangles with a lesbian, a gay dude, and a hairdresser) , I’m telling you that It’s what makes the drama really worth watching. For a human drama, It is considered as one of the bests. The issues they tackle in the Drama really happens in real life. It’s not your typical predictable type of drama. Although the drama was pretty much comedy-free (which made me not want to watch it at first), I must say that the drama really turned-out to be very enjoyable and interesting. There were a LOT of twists and confusion that even I, as the audience, felt so much.I was hiding under the blanket, throwing stuff at my computer and shouting all the time because of the scenes.:))The first episode was deadly; shocking me with the last scene and leaving me troubled for nights till I’ve watched the second episode. This is a drama that will definitely leave you wanting more after each episode. The pacing of the drama was really good (not for the last episode). Things didn’t happen to fast or too slow. All the members of the cast pulled-off all their roles really great. Their excellent acting added to the reason why last friends became such a good drama. What I didn’t like that much in the drama was it’s inconsistency on some of their episodes( episodes 5-7) and uhhh the last episode was pretty much like a fast-forwarded version of  what’s supposed to be 3 episodes all jammed into one. That was the only part of the drama that I found really too fast-paced. But then again, I understand that the drama only has 11episodes (unlike korean dramas) which makes them need to fit everything in such a small timeframe. But overall, last friends is definitely a good watch. 😀

Here’s the opening song. It’s entitled Prisoner of love by Utada Hikaru. Addicting song.

You can watch it in mysoju or you can do what I did. I’ve downloaded every episode (which was like uhh…once a week when It was still ongoing in Japan) in d-addicts via torrent. They already have the complete series with hard subs by Kioku.

Now, go run away and watch last friends. You won’t regret it. Unless you’re really not the type who likes watching human dramas.
